Services
What we do
One crew for the lawn, the beds, the patio and the driveway in January.
Lawn & yard care
Mowing & maintenance
Regular mowing, edging and blowing to keep the yard clean all season.
Aeration
Core aeration to loosen compacted soil so water, air and seed reach the roots.
Bush trimming
Shaping and cutting back shrubs and hedges around the house and beds.
Mulching
Fresh mulch on edged, cleaned-up beds, spread at the right depth.
Fall cleanups
Leaves and debris cleared from lawn and beds and hauled away.
Landscaping & site work
Landscape installation
We install plantings and beds from your plan or your designer's plan.
Hardscapes
Patios, walkways and retaining walls, built to last through Virginia freeze and thaw.
Grading
Leveling and sloping the yard so water drains away from the house.
Site clearing
Clearing brush, vines and overgrowth, with all debris hauled away.
Exterior & winter
Power washing
House washing and deck cleaning to strip off mildew, pollen and grime.
Snow removal
Plowing and clearing for homes and businesses when winter storms hit.
Installation, not design. We don't draw landscape plans. If you have a plan, or a designer, we'll build it.
Through the year
When we do what, in Central Virginia
Most Chesterfield lawns are tall fescue, a cool-season grass, so aeration is best in early fall. Here's the typical calendar. We'll confirm timing for your yard.

Questions
Common questions
Are you licensed and insured?
Yes. B&B Landscaping is licensed and insured.
What areas do you serve?
Chesterfield County, Virginia, including Chesterfield, Midlothian, Chester, Moseley and Bon Air, plus Glen Allen. Text us if you're close by and not sure.
When should I schedule a fall cleanup?
Most Chesterfield yards drop their leaves from late October into early December. Yards with a lot of trees often do best with two visits so leaves don't mat down on the lawn.
Do you haul away debris?
Yes. Leaves, brush, clippings and debris from our work are hauled away. You won't be left with piles to deal with.
Do you design landscapes?
No. We install. Bring your own plan or your designer's, and we'll build it.
When should I aerate my lawn?
For tall fescue, which most Chesterfield lawns are, early fall (September to October) is best, ideally paired with overseeding.
Do you offer snow removal?
Yes, for both homes and businesses. Text 804-218-3105 to get on the list before winter.
